The CPU fan speed works as expected and increases as CPU tempter rises. Note 2 : The only possible M5A97 problem I have noticed is the Case Fan(s) speed does not increase as tempter rises but remains at around 950 rpm (Reported by Open Hardware Monitor) Will the M5A97 have ASUS Utility support and if so would you like to have an early customer test site?

It will not install using any compatibility feature. So far everything I have checked works OK.Īs expected AI suit refuses to install, correctly detecting an inappropriate level of Windows. Microsoft appears to have done a good job of detecting and installing drivers including picking up AHCI on install. Win-7 runs just fine and Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview Build 10041 runs almost as well with few exceptions. I have been using this Rev 1.02 M5A97 with Win-7 for app, 21 months with no difficulties other than a non Windows related BIOS Dram voltage setting only at BIOS 1605. Will the M5A97 have Driver and Utility support for Windows 10. I will update with ASUS's response if any.
#Asus m5a97 r2.0 drivers windows 10 usb 64 Bit#
There is an ASUS catagory for M5A97 and Win-10 64 Bit and have opened the question there. None the less if anyone has any thoughts about Case Fan control let me know. I have **** ASUS as to Win-10 support (attached below). Probe 2 and FanXpert would be nice as at the moment the Case fans run at about 950 rpm no matter what the case temp is or what fan control setting I select in BIOS. Considering that there are utilities that can alter Memory and CPU timings I do not blame ASUS at all for being fussy about OS level. No compatibility setting as to what OS worked last will help. As expected the ASUS utilities will not install under Win 10.
